Titser-Nanay: Papel ng mga Inang Katuwang sa Pagtuturo at Pagkatuto

Layunin ng pananaliksik na ito na matukoy ang papel ng mga inang katuwang sa pagtuturo at pagkatuto ng mga anak. Deskriptib-kuwalitatib ang disenyo ng pag-aaral. Purposive random sampling ang ginamit sa pagpili ng 20 inang walang pormal na karanasan bilang guro na may anak sa elementarya (Kinder-Grade 6). Ginamit ang semi-structured interview guide sa pakikipanayam sa 15 nanay nang harapan at limang (5) onlayn. Bawat panayam ay tumagal ng 30-45 minuto. Ang pag-uusap ay nirekord at itinala (may pahintulot ng kalahok). Kinapanayam din ang dalawang (2) guro. Humingi ng pahintulot (informed consent form) sa mga impormante bago ang panayam. Ang mga datos ay sinuri gamit ang tematik-analisis. Iba’t ibang gampanin ng titser-nanay sa pagiging katuwang niila sa paaralan sa holistikong pag-unlad ng bata, at sa pagtataguyod ng edukasyon sa loob ng tahanan. Ang ina ay hindi lamang katuwang ng paaralan kundi isa ring mahalagang tagapagturo sa tahanan na may direktang impluwensiya sa paghubog ng kinabukasan ng kabataan. Gayunpaman mahalagang mabigyang-suporta sila sa aspeto ng kaalaman, kagamitan, at emosyonal na kalagayan. Inirerekomenda upang mapalakas ang kanilang pagiging epektibong tagapagturo ang: pagbibigay ng angkop na pagsasanay at kaalaman, paglalaan ng sapat ng mga learning resources o materyal, pagsuporta sa emosyonal at sikolohikal na kalagayan ng mga ina, pagpapalakas ng koordinasyon sa pagitan ng paaralan at pamilya, pagtataguyod ng suportang komunidad.
